What we're all about

A Muslim mother and a Jewish mother walk into a bar. No, wait, not a bar.

A Jewish mother and a Muslim mother walk into a room. If by "room" you mean email exchanges and Skype connections.

Shoshana Kordova is an Orthodox Jewish writer from New Jersey who is raising her four daughters in Israel. Saadia Faruqi is a hijab-wearing Muslim writer from Pakistan who is raising her two children in Texas.

They are both parents. They are both religious. The religions they practice are different, but they both recognize that parents raising children in a particular faith, whatever the faith may be, have a lot in common despite their differences.
