We Baptized Our Baby Even Though We Rarely Go to Church

Katherine Feeney had her baby daughter baptized – even though she rarely steps into a church. What she wants to know is: Does this make her a fraud?

"Some might say we're 'cop outs', 'token', 'lazy', or 'cheats," writes Feeney. "Others avowedly anti-religion  might question whether a baptism really was in the best interests of our baby."

Feeney identifies as Christian because, she writes, "I respect and value a lot of what this faith inspires and instructs. I love to have deep discussions about Christian ideas."

Is that all it takes?
